We are the MIT Pistol Team

The MIT Pistol Team competes in Olympic-style, precision pistol against other universities across the US. We practice several times a week in the MIT DuPont range from 5-7pm and are led by a coaching team that has produced multiple members of the US Olympic and National Pistol Teams. 

Joining the Team

We accept new members into the team at the start of Fall and IAP. If you’re interested in joining, please fill out this interest form: https://forms.gle/RF9QdnJ1YAi1FsDJA.

While all MIT affiliates are able to join the team, only undergraduate students are eligible to compete. As a result, undergraduates are given priority when recruiting new members and primarily undergraduates are accepted onto the team.

If you’d like other ways to get involved with pistol shooting, you can sign up for one of the MIT PE classes. Additionally, all members of the MIT community (students, faculty, alumni, current affiliates) are able to join the Tech Pistol & Rifle Club (Tech PRC) – contact hayami@mit.edu or visit their website for more information.
